My Christmas telly Watch List.

Who remembers getting a crisp Radio Times at Christmas, flicking through the day-by-day breakdowns of what was on, blue biro pen out, marking the ones you were excited to watch? I feel nostalgic for those times; the anticipation was part of the fun. The experience is entirely different now, but I still love it nonetheless. Re-watching old films, bingeing new box sets, and fully sinking into the sofa eating a pick-n-mix of Christmas chocs is genuinely an elite experience. Call me a loser, but this year, not only did I save up all the shows I’ve been wanting to watch, but I also made a tick list to make my way through between now and Twixmas.

Curly Sue. My all-time favourite film. Nothing will top this film for me. It’s the perfect mix of funny, heart-warming and festive.

Santa Clause (the classic! and The Santa Clause with Tim Allen)

Scrooged (with Billy Murray)

This is probably pretty niche, but A Christmas Carol with Ross Kemp! (Showing on ITVX)

Home Alone 1&2 is Dan’s favourite and always a good watch.

Miracle on 34th Street, the one with Mara Wilson, not the classic.

Love Actually and The Holiday, it just has to be done.
